Money
Today was the middle day of my six-day run at work. What's nice about working near home is that I was in by 5:20pm. So I got home, watched Neighbours, had two chocolate eclairs and did some laundry. It's nice to have a day off from the flagship store, but I've got so used to working there, I actually miss it! There's something nice and structured about waking up at 6, working non-stop for eight hours, coming home in the rush hour traffic and arriving home just in time to catch The Simpsons on BBC2. I like the structure. I need it. Aimless lounging around the house, watching TV and reading Cube magazine can get old real fast. Thank god I'm employed! I didn't work out at all these last few days. I feel guilty about it, but it's hard to balance regular work outs with an eight hour work day. The last thing I want to do when I come home is go for a run in the pitch black or pick up a weight. This doesn't mean I'm not going to. I have to. I've never felt this... sloggy. There's something so good about the prospect of having a six pack, you know. Not that I'll ever get one at this rate, but hey ho.
